Polish Association for the Mentally Disabled Łęczna Section

History of our section:
Our Association was founded on 4th of June 1991. Polish Association for the Mentally Disabled Łęczna Section provides professional help for mentally disabled people,

the disabled and their families.

Our section runs courses in the following areas:

  1. - rehabilitation
  2. - logopedy
  3. - general development
  4. - therapy of music
  5. - teaching of playing on instruments
  6. - occasional meetings
  7. - trainings for the parents
  8. - entertainment meetings
We function only thanks to the people’s good will and their sensitivity.
We organize:
 - festival of songs, theatre and arts for the disabled
- poem competition “Experience My World”
- integration meetings “Together Easier”
The range of our activity is the area of Łęczna community.

Our activity is based on the job of 5 volunteers and 9 full time workers.
We would like to bring into contact with the similar foreign organization to exchange the experiences.
